At many Jersey City Board of Education meetings I've expressed my concern about the trailers in this district. I believe this is the reason the district finally did a assessment of all the trailers and discovered how much it would cost to repair them. The oldest trailer being 37 years old and the youngest being 14. Something that was supposed to be temporary is now permanent. One of my goals is to advocate at the state level and work with the city to get rid of them and put brick and mortar schools for these young children and stop the bussing of 3 year olds across the city.
